Tak Bat Bok Mai has long been regarded as a major festival side by side with Wat Phra Buddha Band Ratchawora Maha Vihara in Phra Buddha Bat district of Saraburi province, the only place in Thailand where the locals and Buddhists from neighboring provinces meet once a year for this event.
